

Ed proudly served his country in the United States Army. He worked for UVA as a vending route salesman. In his spare time, Ed greatly enjoyed cooking for his family, gardening and canning. He had a passion for antique cars and could dance a flat-footed jig.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 41 years, Sarah Dawn Moubry, who passed away August 21, 2010 and a brother, Earl Moubry.
Survivors include his son, Shawn Moubry; daughter, Lisa Johnson and husband, Matt; grandchildren, Justin and Allyson Johnson all of Waynesboro; two sisters, Evelyn Bibb and husband, Walter of Charlottesville and Joyce Patterson of Blenheim; special friend, Chis Grandle; as well as nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Ed also leaves behind his four legged friend, Allie.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, March 24,2016at Augusta Memorial Park with Chris Grandle and Wesley Chiles officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes.
