

Edith Baber Andrews-Feldbusch, 91, of Waynesboro passed away, Wednesday, June 1, 2010 at Augusta Health.
She was born May 7, 1920 in Crimora, daughter of the late William and Lena Shaner Baber.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Emory Andrews in 1964 and husband John Feldbusch in 1997, four brothers, and three sisters.
She graduated from New Hope High School in 1938 and attended community colleges at night, obtained various certificates, such as Business, Computers, etc. She served in the Navy as a Wave in Washington, D.C. 1944-1946 where she was a Specialist First Class on Massachusetts and Nebraska Avenue in the Communication Division (this location broke the Japanese code). She retired from W.R. Grace, Baltimore, MD after 37 years service as an inside sales control supervisor. She was a member of Forest Chapel Church of The Brethren and the League of Women Voters in Waynesboro.
Survivors include her sister, Ellen Carter, nieces and nephews. The family would like to give special thanks to her caregivers, Trisha Simmons, Laferne Harris and Judy Holste.
A service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Monday, June 6, 2011 in the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes, 618 W. Main Street, Waynesboro, VA with Pastor George Yokum officiating. Entombment will follow at the Augusta Memorial Park Mausoleum.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes of Waynesboro.
Active pallbearers will be Neil Baber, Rusty Baber, Steve Baber, Newton Johnson, Chris Buchanan, Mark Baber and Tony Hoffman.
Honorary pallbearers will be family and friends attending the service.
