Edith "Joyce" Zimmerman Ramsey

She was born June 25, 1933 in Waynesboro to the late Gordon Thomas and Mamie (Brooks) Zimmerman. Joyce was a former member of Glen Kirk Presbyterian Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Elbert L. ‘Bo’ Ramsey, Sr.; brothers, Lewis, George, Ernest and Russell Zimmerman; sisters Mary Barker, Nannie Fitzgerald, Annie Truslow and Helen Coffey.

Survivors include her daughters, Connie Campbell and husband, Donald and Tina Hatter and husband, Daniel; son, Elbert ‘Junior’ and wife, Debrah; grandchildren, Tonya, Philip (Natalie) and Jennifer Campbell, Garrett and Kerby Hatter, Jessica Stepp (Jon) and Trevor Ramsey; great grandchildren, Brittany, Kayley, Kelsey and Cobin Campbell and Atlee Hatter; great-great grandchildren, Sawyer and Bodhi Campbell; sister, Margie Bess of Fishersville.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 9, 2017 at Augusta Memorial Park with Pastor Mike Lawson officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 8, 2017 at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes, 618 W. Main St.

In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial donations to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund Alliance, P.O.
