Edna Irene Miller

She was born on May 12, 1925 to the late Samuel and Catherine (Brenneman) Roth at Wellesley, Ontario Canada. She was married to Eli J. Miller of Stuarts Draft who preceded her in death.

She is survived by two sisters, Mildred (Lorne Rupert), of Stratford Ontario; Esther Roth, Lisbon Ontario; two brothers, Nelson (Katie Gerber) Roth, Wellesley Ontario; Kenneth Roth, Exeter Ontario. Two nephews and three nieces, eleven great nieces and nephews, and five great great nieces and nephews.

In addition she is also survived by a step family; a son, Joni E Miller, Roadhouse, IL; seven grandchildren, thirty nine great-grandchildren, twenty one great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband of thirty-four years, one sister, Mary Roth, three nephews, one step daughter-in-law, Lydia Ann (Schrock) Miller, and two step great-grandsons

Mrs. Miller was an active person from her youth, enjoying the simple things of life especially taking notice of God’s creation. She really enjoyed gardening, and collecting seashells. She had a caring spirit for other people, that was displayed through her time in nursing and caring for older people. She also spent time caring for her husband in their sunset years.

She accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal Savior, at a young age and at the time of passing; she was a member of the Pilgrim Christian Fellowship.

Funeral services will be held on Friday June 8th at 10 AM at the Pilgrim Christian Fellowship Church of Stuarts Draft, with visitation on Thursday, June 7th from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Burial will follow at Pilgrim Christian Church Cemetery.
