

Mr. Reardon was born in Buffalo, NY, and was a son of the late Frank and Frances (Schultz) Reardon. He retired from the United States Postal Service after many years as a postal worker. Mr. Reardon, along with four other men, were the founding members of the Waynesboro Fire Department and First Aid Crew. In his retirement, he also enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a skilled wood worker. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. E.C. served in the United States Army during World War II as a cannoneer.
Mr. Reardon was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Eve Elaine (Via) Reardon in 1992.
He is survived by one daughter, Debbie O’Baugh and husband Mark of Waynesboro; a granddaughter, Chanda Mongold; five great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Reardon was preceded in death by a son, Clayton Kendall Reardon; a daughter Gayle Reardon Berry, and he was the last surviving member of his family.
A celebration of life service will be held on Thursday, July 5, 2012 at 7pm at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes, with Pastor Mark Schloneger officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
Honorary pallbearers for the service will be the members of the Waynesboro Fire Department and First Aid Crew.
