Eric Carlton Ours, 52, passed away Monday, September 26, 2011 at his residence. Born April 21, 1959, son of James William and Emily (Meeks) Ours. Mr. Ours was a member of Mt. Horeb Presbyterian Church. In his spare time, he enjoyed motorcycle riding and relic hunting. Mr. Ours is preceded in death by sister, Mary Katherine Ours and brother, Scott Ours. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Kennie Jo Ours; son, Jeremy Scott Ours; step-sons, Jerry Lee and wife Cheryl Golliday, Cecil and wife Robin Golliday; grandchildren, Emily Lucas and husband R.J., Christopher, Matthew, Erica, Alexis and Brynlee Golliday and Hannah Jayne. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Friday, September 30, 2011 at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes, 618 W. Main Street, Waynesboro, VA. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 8, 2011, at Mt. View Cemetery on Rockfish Road, Grottoes, VA.
