Gwendolyn June Hudlow

Gwendolyn June Hudlow, 77, of 2230 Lyndhurst Road, passed away Thursday evening, September 15, 2011 at Augusta Health. She way born June 17, 1934 in Rockingham County, a daughter of the late Ernest Poe and Violet Morris Hensley. She was a homemaker, enjoyed being with her family, yard sales and flowers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Violet Marie Hartless. Survivors include her husband of 56 years, William “Bill” Hudlow, Sr., two sons, William R. Hudlow, Jr. and his wife Judy Ann of Waynesboro, Michael J. Hudlow of Waynesboro, a brother, Greg Hensley of Alexandra, three sisters, Mary Williams of Mosely, Roberta Meadows of Elkton, Fonda Breeden of Elkton, four grandchildren, Christina Wallis and her husband Casey, Melissa Smiley and her husband Stephen, Michael James Hudlow, Jr., Tiffany Marie Hudlow, two great grandchildren, Rylie Violet-Fawn Wallis and Ella Grace Smiley. A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes by Pastor Greg Mayo. Burial will follow in Augusta Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Casey Wallis, Stephen Smiley, Michael James Hudlow, Jr., William R. Hudlow, Jr. and J.
