Harvey Maynard Bean

Harvey Maynard Bean, 73, of Waynesboro, passed away on Thursday November 25, 2021 at Augusta Nursing and Rehabilitation in Fishersville. Mr. Bean was born on June 23, 1948 in Germany, and was a son of the late Allen Crosby and Irene (Sackett) Bean. He worked for both Waynesboro Hospital and Augusta Health, and most recently worked in order fulfillment for Tenneco in Harrisonburg. Harvey was an avid Tennessee Volunteer Athletics fan. His greatest enjoyment came from spending time with his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Janet Bean. In addition to his wife, Harvey is survived by his children, Aiden Kirchner of Afton, Donica Sluss and husband Michael of Waynesboro; and two grandchildren, Kaylee and Colton Sluss. A graveside service will be held on Friday December 3, 2021 at 11 AM at Augusta Memorial Park with Leo Cormier officiating.
