

Henry Allen Campbell, 61, of Crimora passed away Sunday morning, January 15, 2012 at his residence.
He was born October 5, 1950 in Waynesboro, son of the late Carl Nelson Campbell and Nora Cale Campbell.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Jean Campbell.
Mr. Campbell was a member of Edward Avenue Baptist Church and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He never met a stranger.
He is survived by his wife, Pheba Campbell; his children, Peggy Sue Olveria and husband Jimmy, Amanda Lotts and husband Jeffrey, Troy Campbell and wife Lydia, Matilda Landram, Chuck Blankenship and wife Heather, all of Waynesboro; 13 grandchildren, Christopher, Brandon, Johnny, Kayla, Jacob, Dylan, Matthew, Kevin, Faith, Destiny, Selena, Jimmy and Aidan; one great-grandson, Caleb; two brothers, Ronnie Cook and wife Joyce of Staunton and David Campbell and wife Mary of Lyndhurst. He is also survived by a special friend, Kenny.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes of Waynesboro.
A service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 19, 2012 at the Edward Avenue Baptist Church with Pastor Gary May officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Lawn Mausoleum and Memory Gardens in Staunton with American Legion Post 340 providing military rites.
Active pallbearers will be Christopher and Brandon Raines, Kenny and C.O. Alford, Larry Landram and Wayne Clark. Honorary pallbearers will be family and friends attending the service.
