He was born January 14, 1963, a son of James Purcell, Sr. and the late Deloros Elaine (Douglas) Randolph.
He proudly served his country in the United States Navy.
Survivors in addition to his father include his wife, Jo Ann McCauley; son, Nicholas A. Randolph and wife Rosie, James L. Southers and wife Wendy; 7 gandchildren, Ayden, Katie, Kayden, Kaisen and Kaylen Randolph, James Southers 111 and Presley Southers.
He also leaves two sisters, Dawn Obie and husband, George, Towanda Ortiz and husband Manuel and their children Jonathan, Angelina and Pruto.
A celebration of life service will be held by his family from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 26, 2022 at Jo’s Place, 751 N. Delphine Ave., Waynesboro, Va. Please bring a covered dish.
