

Born June 8, 1932 in Elkins, WV, he was the son of the late James P. and Sara M. (Scott) Snead.
Mr. Snead had been employed with Genicom where he worked as an inspector for 32 faithful years before retiring. He had a love for baseball and in his younger years played for the Waynesboro Generals and later in life coached little league. He loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and family. He could often be found tinkering in his garage, wood working, bird watching or playing a round of horseshoes.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two daughters, Sharon Ivy Snead and Robin (Snead) Rowe; daughter-in-law, Teresa Snead; four brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include his loving wife of 38 years, Patricia (Liebal) Snead; his children, Ella Ross and husband, Stephen, Larry Snead, Beth Basley and husband, Christopher and Stephanie Frenger and husband, Bengie; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at the home of his daughter, Ella Ross. Burial will be private.
