She was born February 19, 1929, to the late James D. and Hattie (Comer) Comer.
Janice retired from the shipping department of Genicom.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George B. Zimmerman, son, Danny L. Zimmerman, and a daughter, Patricia Ann Fisher.
Survivors include a son, Tony J. Zimmerman; daughter, Diana Harlow and husband Roy all of Waynesboro.
There will be no viewing and visitation. All services will be private.
