Jeffrey was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp. After his separation he spent many years as a truck driver. He was fun loving and never met a stranger.
Jeffrey was preceded in death by his father Shelton D. Runyon and his mother Marilyn McDougall Runyon. He is survived by his daughters Shannon James of Mount Sidney Va and her husband John as well as Kimberly Tucker of Carson City NV and her husband Andrew.
Jeffrey had 5 grandchildren, Justin Hershey, Leslie Howell, Chelsea Blum, Killian Tucker and Soren Tucker. He also had 6 great grandchildren.
The family would like to extend its heartfelt gratitude for the amazing care he received from Augusta Health Hospice of the Shenandoah.
