My prayers go out to the family of Scott, it was just way too soon to leave at a young age. It was too soon for my wife Debbie too. She knew it was getting near, but she said I will be in a swing with Jesus pushing me. She is today with Scott next in line to be near Jesus!

Dear Terry, Martha and family, We have been praying for you all since we heard about Scott.  I knew Scott briefly a few years ago and he was such a nice young man and very talented.  I know this leaves a huge hole in your hearts but please know that a lot of folks are lifting you up!

My deepest sympathies to all of you. Though I had not seen Scott in several years I will always cherish our fun and adventurous high school years when he and Phillip were often side by side for each and every one, keeping us laughing along the way. I still miss Phillip and I know that he and Scott are now reunited and laughing together once again. Sending prayers to all of you.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss of Scott. I met Scott years ago when we worked together at Braggs Body Shop. Scott was a great friend to me and I enjoyed working beside him every day. The love he had in repairing cars was amazing. I never got to meet his girls,but I feel that I knew them. He talked about his girls everyday... He will be missed greatly! Losing a loved one can only be understood by those who have walked that dark valley before. I lend to all who are grieving, grief is necessary and important.  We need the freedom to grieve. It's an important part of closure because it allows us to honestly express the way we feel.  We all grieve differently. Take time to personally mourn and also become involved in the necessary steps to bring closure to your loss. We grieve because we've had a positive experience-what you've lost is important to you. Grieving is a way of honoring what was meaningful to you. Ecclesiates 3:4- A time to cry and a time to laugh.  A time to grieve and a time to dance.
Grief has it's season, but then there comes a time to move on, God wants you to wipe your tears, move on and be redemptive to other grieving people. He will remove all your sorrows and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. He doesn't promise to preserve us from grief but to help you through it. Take hope there will be no more grief in heaven.

Dear Martha, I was deeply saddened to learn of the death of your son. Please know you & all your family are in my thoughts & prayers.

May God bless you and keep you knowing that Scott will always be in your heart, your memories and always be by your sides. It's so difficult to say good bye to a loved one, especially your son, but, know you will get thru this and will find peace in knowing he is with Uncle Russell, Daddy, Big John, Joshua and Grand ma and pa Miller and all the other family members that have gone before us. Know that he now sits with them in a large open meadow with beautiful flowers surrounding them, all the animals are there that have passed over the rainbow bridge and he is smiling down upon you all now. When you feel the wind, know that's his whisper saying, I am alright, when you feel rain on your cheek, they are not tears for they are his tears of happiness and joy in knowing he now sits with our Lord, God, when you feel the snow falling down around you, know that is his arms comforting you until we all see each other again in Heaven, and know when the colors of spring come that is him and he will hold you in comfort for now till then. We will never know why the young go so early. God has promised to reveal all of this to us when we arrive and we are to keep strong looking forward reading the word and preparing to see loved ones again healed and perfect in every way.

I am very sad to hear about Scott.  My heart goes out to his family and his children. In grade school, Scott use to tell me stories of all these adventures that he and Phillip would go on. Like killing bears, fighting mountain lions and things like that.  After every sentence in his story he would turn and say Ain't that right Phillip?  and he would "Yup!"  They were a bit far-fetched- lol but I never got tired of hearing them :)  
I'll miss ya Scott!
