Jon Gould

Jon Finnemore Gould, 68 of Waynesboro, passed away Sunday, May 12, 2024 at The Regency at Augusta in Fishersville. Jon was born in Morristown, Vermont to Phillip and Maxine Gould. He married Kathy Pierson in 2004 in Charlottesville, VA. He graduated from Vermont Technical College and worked in the construction industry for many years. He retired as a Kitchen and Bath designer from Reico Kitchen and Bath in 2018, returning to work there again part time in 2021. He was an active member of the Waynesboro Free Methodist Church and the Stuarts Draft Life Group where he cherished the friendship and fellowship he had with his church family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Kathy; son, Chris Gould; brothers, Blake Gould, Brent Gould, and a sister Carol Jaeger. Survivors include by his step-daughter Emily Leighty and husband Levi and their two children, as well as several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at Waynesboro Free Methodist Church, 600 Hopeman Parkway, Waynesboro.
