Born April 5, 1958 in Staunton, he was a son of the late Joseph William and Necema Jane (Muterspaw) McCray.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Theresa "Jeannie" McCray.
Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 14, 2025 at Second Presbyterian Church, 133 N. Delphine Ave., Waynesboro.
