Joyce “Joy” Marie (Dameron) Ham, 69, of Waynesboro, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2020, at Shenandoah Hospice House.
She was born February 4, 1951, a daughter of the late Herbert Mac and Gladys Marie (Hildebrand) Dameron.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Jamie Dixon Clark and a brother, Freddie Dameron.
She attended Waynesboro Church of the Brethren.
Prior to her illness, she was employed by Goodwill of Waynesboro.
Survivors include her loving husband, Michael “Mike’ Ham; son, Richard “Rick” Clark, Jr., and wife, Julie; daughter, Cyndi Parsons; brothers, Kenneth Dameron, Earl Hildebrand and wife, Cheryl; sister-in-law, Libby Dameron; stepson, Joshua Ham, as well as seven grandchildren.
Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 22, 2020 at the Waynesboro Church of the Brethren, 364 Bridge Ave., Waynesboro, with Pastor Todd Crowder officiating.

oh my goodness...JOYCE AND I WERE MORE LIKE SISTERS THAN COUSINS...EVERY SUMMER I WENT TO LIVE WITH OUR GRANDDAD & GRANDMA HILDEBRAND WHICH INCLUDED STAYING WITH JOYCE AND HER MOM AND DAD. SEEN HER LAST IN 2013 WHEN MY BROTHER STEVE AND I WENT TO VISIT HER MOM IN THE HEALTH CENTER AND STAYED WITH JOYCE AND HER HUSBAND. so MANY MEMORIES OF OUR CHILDHOOD AND HER VISITS TO ME HOME IN NN IN THE 70S. WE ALL LOSE CLOSE CONTACT OVER THE MILES AND YEARS BUT OUR HEARTS AND SOULS WILL ALWAYS BE CONNECTED. . SHE WAS ON FB AND THEN NOT SO MUCH SO WE DID NOT TALK AS MUCH AS I WANTED TOO..but i do know SHE LOVED HER CHILDREN AND I WILL MISS HER SO VERY MUCH..my BROTHER STEVE H PASSED IN 2015 UNEXPECTED FROM CANCER AND MY 45 YR OLD DAUGHTER IN 2014 SO PERHAPS THEY CAN GET TOGETHER AND REMEMBER THE GOOD OLE DAYS AND REMEMBER ME AS I REMEMBER THEM rip and WE SURE WERE BLESSED AND HER MOM WAS ALWAYS A 2ND MOM TO ME...siigh SO PRAYERS WITH HER AND TO ALL HER FAMILY..LOVE ALWAYS YOUR COUSIN AND GET IN TROUBLE PARTNER LINDA H ROGERS
