Juanita Clark Via

Born October 15, 1936 in Marion, VA she was the daughter of the late Tom and Mary (Widner) Clark.

On November 10, 1956 she married Joseph G. Via with who she shared a blessed union of 56 years. Mrs. Via was a member of Faith Worship Center in Stuarts Draft, Virginia.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Jerald Via; siblings, George Clark, Charles Clark, William Clark, Stella Shaffer and Edith Henderson.

In addition to her husband, survivors include her children, Kathy Cassell of Waynesboro, Jody Via and companion Rhonda Scott of Waynesboro and Michael Via and wife Brenda of Sherando; grandchildren, Jessica Cassell, Mary Flint, Emily Miller, Jonathan Via and Joshua Via; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Brooks of Waynesboro; as well as Kolby Powell who was like a grandson to her.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes, 618 W. Main St., with Rev. Dennis Bradley officiating. Burial will follow at Augusta Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to her service on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Active pallbearers will be Jody Via, Michael Via, Joseph Via, James Henderson, Webster Shaffer and Donnie Clark.
