I'm so very sorry to hear about Karen's passing.... she was a dear friend and co-worker when I was at Erie Insurance. We lived across from each other at Summercrest and had lots of good times together. May she rest in peace free from pain. May God comfort her family....

The first person I truly loved, and the one person I TRULY hurt. I always hoped to make amends, but felt that by the time I was ready, nothing I could EVER say or do would do anything but stir up pain and hurt. Please know that I am truly sorry and forever grateful for her love and the love of her family.

Karen was such a sweetheart. She always had that beautiful smile on her face, and her laugh was contagious. She will be missed greatly. We are thinking of you all during this time.

The Rose Beyond the Wall

A rose once grew where all could see,
Sheltered by a garden wall,
And as the days passed swiftly by
It spread it's branches, straight and tall.

One day, a beam of light shone through
A crevice that had opened wide.
The rose bent gently towards its warmth,
Then passed beyond to the other side.

Now as you deeply feel it's loss
Be comforted - the rose blooms there -
It's beauty even greater now,
Nurtered by God's own loving care.

Love without measure and prayers always.

I remember when I started at Erie Insurance and I was sitting in the break room, this lady walked in and sat and chatted with me for a few moments. She had the prettiest smile and best laugh. That woman was Karen. She always had a great story to tell and she had a great laugh. I will miss her.

I remember Karen as we were friends/neighbors when we were kids and she was one of my first teenage friends, she helped with my self esteem and I will never forget her! Love to all of the family ❤️

Karen was a daughter to her four Aunts. I am proud to have been one . She was the first girl in our immediate family & never stopped being Our Precious little Karen. Hold fast to all your Wonderful Memories.
She blossomed into a Beautiful Independent Lady who loved the Lord. We were Blest to have shared her Life on earth. But this is not the end of her story.... We shall meet her again in Heaven where there will be no pain or tears or parting. A promise made to us on Calvary by Jesus Christ. Thanks for the lovely Memories,
My Love, Aunt Judy

My heart broke when I heard this. Karen and I go back to the good old days at Shenandoah Heights. We always thought we had a special bond because we were born a day apart, our first and last initials were the same when she was a Carver and her middle name is Yvonne and mine is LaVonne. We considered ourselves to be soul sisters but her soul was much more beautiful! I cant ever think of a time when she wasn't smiling and happy and I feel so much guilt for not keeping in touch with her. My heart goes out to her family.
Karen you will always be my soul sister and as always I will think of you on your birthday and I will blow you a kiss all the way to Heaven! Loved you always girl!
