

God looked around His garden and found an empty space. He gently reached down, took your little hand and brought you to that special place. You are now part of his eternal bouquet and safely at rest. God’s garden must be beautiful because he always picks the best.
Lacy Elizabeth Taylor, age 8, of Waynesboro passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2011. She was born on August 8, 2002, a daughter of David Lee and Julie Marie Guy Taylor.
Lacy was a second grade student at Wenonah Elementary School. She had the nickname, “Little Bit”. She loved to ride her bike, sing, play with her friends, eat chicken wraps from McDonald’s and spread her contagious smile everywhere she went.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her parents of Waynesboro; three brothers, Logan Taylor, Lucus Taylor and Daniel Russ; paternal grandparents, Richard and Betty Taylor; maternal grandparents, Leonard and Tammy Guy; her caregiver, who was also like a mother, Penny Taylor; her special granny, Pat Garnett; two aunts, Tracy Parr and Catrina Colvin; two uncles, Zane Taylor and his wife Emily and Derick Massie; cousins, Brea Fried, Erica Parr, Anna, Madison and Naomi Colvin and her special friend, Adrian.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Bonnie Burns.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes with Pastor Earl Monroe officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow at Augusta Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Lucus Taylor, Logan Taylor, Zane Taylor and Steve Bandy. Honorary pallbearers will be the members of her second grade class at Wenonah Elementary School.
