Born on December 1, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Frederick Paul, Sr. and Leotta (Hahn) Harris.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, James and Frederick Paul Harris, Jr.; and a granddaughter, Susan Lynn O’Bryan.
Surviving are her daughters, Susan H. Wells of Greenville, Leotta A. Redifer of Faber; son, Carl Hiner, Jr. and wife, Gail of Staunton; sister, Dorothy Harris of McDowell; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Bill Watson officiating. Interment will follow in Augusta Memorial Park.
There will be no formal viewing or visitation at the funeral home.
