Linda Jane Roetto

Linda was a loving wife to Frank Roetto for over 20 years. They met in grade school, dated briefly in high school, then went their separate ways. They reconnected again at Blue Ridge Chapel Church, eventually getting married on February 10, 2006.

Linda was a hard working woman who excelled in management. She was co-owner of a 7-11 franchise in Waynesboro, district manager of Hardees restaurants for many years and ended her career with Richmond Restaurant where she retired.

After she retired, she became chair of the Women’s Fellowship at Blue Ridge Chapel during the last church renovation in 2011. She and the hard working crew of women helped completely furnish the kitchen and fellowship hall through fundraisers and donations. Many meals were prepared and sold to help but tables and chairs for the fellowship hall, which are still in use today.

Linda was preceded in death by her father, Dennis V. Sandridge, Jr.; her mother, Shirley Mae (Priddy) Sandridge; her youngest sister Robin S. Shiflett and nephew Phillip J. Sandridge, Jr.

Linda is survived by her husband, Frank; sister, Diniah S. Bell (Dennis); brothers Dennis V. Sandridge lll (known as Rick) (Donna), Phillip J. Sandridge, Sr.(Susan) numerous nieces, nephews she loved as her own children, and special friends Pete and Marie.

Special appreciation goes to the Shenandoah House staff who cared so lovingly for Linda in her last days, especially Teresa who also cared for Linda at her home previously to her hospice stay.

Following cremation there will be no services at her request.
