He was born May 31, 1951 in Steubenville, Ohio. After completing his medical training at West Virginia University, he relocated to Waynesboro in 1981 and worked at the Waynesboro Community Hospital and later at Augusta Health until 2017, when he retired from the practice of anesthesia.
Surviving are his wife of forty-five years, Diane; their children, Brian and Leah (Sawyer) and his sister Maria.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
