She was born December 15, 1926, a daughter of the late Manassas and Lena Stower Abshire.
She retired from the former Morton Frozen Foods of Crozet.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Bryant; and a son, Randall “Randy” Bryant.
She was the last survivor of her immediate family.
Survivors include two nephews, Clyde Kestner, Woodrow Abshire; two nieces, Effie Irvan and Pansy Smith.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 3, 2016 at Riverview Cemetery with Pastor Richard Owen officiating.
Active pallbearers will be Donald, Albert and David Smith, Clyde Kestner and Woodrow Abshire.
There will be no public viewing or visitation at the funeral home.
