Lowell Adin Brubaker, 88, of Staunton, Virginia and formerly of Bradenton, Florida, passed away on Sunday, August 12, 2018 in Staunton, Virginia. He was born in Ohio on January 7, 1930, a son the late Adin and Hulda Brubaker.
Lowell built and operated Christian radio station, WKZM for 25 years until his retirement in 2000. He was a member of Bay Shore Mennonite Church in Sarasota, Florida.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Louise (Yoder) Brubaker; son, Dean Brubaker; and brother, Maurice Brubaker.
Survivors include his children, Robert Brubaker and wife, JoAnn of Lyndhurst, Virginia and Dianne Malueg and husband, Tom of Chicago, Illinois ; brother, Carl Brubaker and wife, Kathy of Canada; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; as well as extended family and friends.
A private graveside service will be conducted at Manasota Memorial Park, 1221 53rd Ave. East. Bradenton, Florida 34203.
There will be no public viewing or visitation at the funeral homes.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a Christian radio station of your choice.
