Maria Lourdes Gonzales Zacarias

Maria Lourdes Gonzales Zacarias, 65, of Waynesboro, VA, passed away on May 5, 2018 with her family by her side. Maria Lourdes was born in Michoacan, Mexico to Natalia Zacarias and the late Marcelino Gonzales on October 23, 1952. She moved to California in the early 70’s where she had her three sons. She then moved to Waynesboro, VA with her family in 1996 where she became a citizen and married Jesus Moran Villareal on May 29, 2009. She was always happy to help her community through her church and whenever she saw a need. In addition to her mother, survivors include her husband, Jesus Moran Villareal; and her sons, Edgar Javier Lara Gonzales, Rene Lara Gonzales and Rodrigo Moran Gonzales. A funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes, 618 W. Main St., Waynesboro. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 11, 2018 at the funeral home.
