Marshall Steven Cash

Born April 12, 1947 in Waynesboro, he was a son of the late Hollis Herbert and Hallie Mae (Fitzgerald) Cash.

Steve is survived by his brother, David G. Cash and wife, Helen, of Lyndhurst; two nieces, Heather Harlow and husband, Bobby, and Lori Davis and husband, Alex; nephew, Zack Cash; a number of great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins; and a special “sister”, Violet Burkholder Cash.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 16, 2026 at Augusta Memorial Park, 1775 Goose Creek Road, Waynesboro with Pastor Derek Yoder officiating. All who plan to attend are asked to meet directly at the cemetery.

There will be no formal viewing or visitation at the funeral home.

The family would like to give a special heartfelt thank you to Pleasant View Homes, especially Louk House, Harrison House, and every staff member that made the last 13 years of his life wonderful. Also a special thank you to his doctors and nurses at Sentara RMH Medical Center.
