Martha Ann Rhodes Coffey

Martha Ann (Rhodes) Coffey, 78, of Waynesboro, passed away on Friday August 2, 2013 at Augusta Nursing and Rehabilitation in Fishersville.

Mrs. Coffey was born on August 13, 1934 in Goochland, VA. She worked as a home maker.

Martha was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Robert Coffey.

Mrs. Coffey is survived by a son, Jimmy Coffey and wife Earline of Waynesboro; two daughters, Janet Wilkinson and husband John and Carolyn Garrison and husband Dickie, both of Waynesboro; 7grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Coffey was preceded in death by three brothers.

A graveside service will be held on Monday August 5, 2013 at 1 P.M. at Riverview Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes. A formal procession to the cemetery will follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Shenandoah Valley Animal Services Center; 1001 Mt. Torrey Rd., Lyndhurst, VA 22952.
