Mary Frances Via

Born April 12, 1960 in Albemarle County, she was the daughter of the late Charles Walker and Arlene Keyton Coleman.

Mary was employed by Augusta Health where she worked as a supervisor with the Environmental Services Department.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Allen Via, Sr. on July 16, 2015; brother, Donnie Coleman; and sister, Judy Fisher.

Survivors include two sons, Bradley Via and wife, Angela of Staunton and Stephen Via and wife, Glenna of Waynesboro; daughter, Christine Bozga and husband, Christopher Raines of Waynesboro; sister, Carol Glass and husband, Lee of Buckingham County; step-son, Stanley Via, Jr. and wife, Emily of Staunton; adoptive daughter, Brittany Sorrels and husband, Steven of Staunton. Also left to cherish her memory are her thirteen grandchildren and special friends Goober and Marty Fields.

A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Friday, July 29, 2016 at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes with Minister Desiree’ Leake officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 28, 2016 at the funeral home.
