“Pete” was born in Crimora on September 24, 1939, a son of the late George Wade and Earle Viola (Claytor) Baber.
He was a member of Wayside Baptist Church and retired after 40 years of service with Rain and Nail Construction in Crimora.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two children, Pameral Lynn (Baber) Cash and Michael Todd Baber, as well as two sisters and one brother.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two granddaughters, Emily Rachel and Erin MacKenzie Baber; two brothers-in-law, Jimmie Roadcap and Ronnie Critzer; three sisters-in-law, Lois Critzer, Merrel Roadcap and Ethel Baber Shiflett; special aunt Effie May Parr and a special niece, Penny Baber Carter and her family.
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic all services will be private. There will be no public viewing or visitation at the funeral home.
The family kindly asks that all flowers be sent to the funeral home, no food items be delivered to the residence and visitors.
The family suggests to send flowers in memory of Pete’s fondness and love of all flowers.
