

Millie's life was a testament to her unwavering faith and devotion to Christ and her love for her family. She proudly served her country working for Headquarters, US Marine Corps Washington D.C. for the majority of her career.
Millie is survived by her brother, James Ours; her daughters, Joy Shreve (Mervin) and Diane May (Al); as well as her grandchildren, Anissa Kelley, Michael Shreve (Elaine), Lori Kirkendall, and Holly May. She also leaves behind nine great-grandchildren and many who called her Gran.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles; son, David; siblings, Frank Ours, Virginia (Dolly) Beitzel, and Don Ours; beloved sisters-in-law, Virginia Mize and Emily Ours; as well as her niece Dona Mason. She is now reunited with them in the presence of the Lord.
The family invites friends to join them for a time of visitation, on Friday, November 17th from 12:45 - 1:45 pm at Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes, Waynesboro. Following the visitation, there will be a funeral procession from the funeral home to Augusta Memorial Park for a graveside service at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Fragile First Foundation at Capstone Hospice (capstonehospice.com) as a thank-you for the love and support they provided Millie and her family.
May Mildred Ours Groves' soul rest in eternal peace, and may her spirit continue to inspire faith and love in the hearts of those who knew her.
