Mildred Stanley Wright

Born December 18, 1921 in Staunton, she was the daughter of the late John and Beatrice (Coffman) Stanley.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James F. Wright; as well as six siblings.

Mrs. Wright was a member of the Waynesboro Church of the Brethren. She was employed by the former E.I. DuPont and retired after 42 years of service. She was a member of the Waynesboro Senior Center and volunteered at Bridgewater Home.

Survivors include her children, Wanda McPherson and husband Cecil and Vance Wright and wife Jeanette; grandchildren, Kim and Kevin Tanner, Doug and Emily Wright and Dreama Fitzgerald; great-grandson, Addison Tanner; siblings, Lloyd Stanley, Martha Loan and Rachel Belver.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes with Rev. Todd Crowder officiating. Burial will follow in Augusta Memorial Park.

Active pallbearers will be Henry, Kevin and Addison Tanner, Tristin Fitzgerald and Curtis Clatterbaugh.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
