Peter Wilton Martin Jr.

Mr. Martin was born July 26, 1945 in Roanoke County, a son of the late Peter Wilton, Sr. and Beatrice Williamson Martin.

He was a United States Air Force Veteran, a member of Glovier Memorial United Methodist Church, a member of Masonic Lodge 122 of Charlottesville, a member of American Legion Post 340 of Waynesboro and retired as a Heating and Air Condition Installer.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by Harry Lee Martin and an infant brother.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Patricia Ann Martin, a son, T. C. Martin of Waynesboro, a daughter, Shelley Loschelder and husband Russell of North Garden, a granddaughter, Patricia Rose Loschelder.

Following cremation a memorial service will be held 6:00 PM Thursday, January 12, 2012 at Glovier Memorial United Methodist Church by Pastor Chuck Weist.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
