He was born September 1, 1957, a son of the late Herman Arnold Eavey and Mabel Virginia (Rickman) Stott.
He retired from the United States Army after 20 years of service.
Survivors include two sons; a brother, Jimmy Eavey; two sisters, Diane Morgan, Doris Aleshire; four grandchildren, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
He also leaves his K-9 companion, Joe.
Following cremation there will be no services.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes.
