He is survived by his wife, Wanda (Gregory) Wheeler; brother, Albert Wheeler; sons, Robert Dale Wheeler (Donna K.) and Tony Wheeler; daughter, Susan Wheeler; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; step-sons, Joey Mooneyham and Tommy Mooneyham; specials friends, Mary Wheeler and Sue Turpel; and his k-9 companions, Lady, Sadie, and Friskie.
Robert retired from Fishburne Military School.
Per his wishes, there will be no formal services.
