

Roger Lee Gochenour, 78, of Crimora passed away on January 7, 2017 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born in Crimora on January 15, 1938, a son of the late Raymond Bewel and Eva Pearl (Baber) Gochenour.
Roger proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was the owner and operator of Country Estates Mobile Home Park & Sales.
In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by his brothers, Harley and Calvin Gochenour and his four-legged friend, Lucky.
Survivors include his loving wife of 31 years, Sue Gochenour; children, Raymond Gochenour and wife, Cindi, Natosha Pike and husband, Mike Somers, and Katrina Blosser and husband, Jerry; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; sister, Nancy Eavey; as well as numerous extended family and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes with Pastor Michael Eastman officiating. Burial will follow at Augusta Memorial Park with military honors.
Active Pallbearers will be Chris Eavey, Michael Eavey, Dale Eavey, Graiville “Jr.” Griffin, Scott VanFossen and Val Gochenour.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at the funeral home.
