My deepest sympathy for all of Ronald's family and friends. Being a cousin, I have memories of Ronnie from years ago. I was always very proud of his commitment and dedication to the emergency services of the City of Waynesboro. I'm sure he enjoyed his music and Tony's involvement in the same.

Ronnie welcomed me to the fire department and was a true friend. We enjoyed many hunting trips and other adventures over the years. He was a talented musician , when he played you could see the enjoyment of entertaining in his face. He was the person I was assigned to for drivers training and he taught me many things about pump operations. I remember one night we had a call for a brush fire behind the center for shopping. It was in the fence row behind the buildings. Well there is also a graveyard back there and we found out that night that he wasn't going to man the pump by himself at a graveyard. Got on the radio to ask him to increase the pressure a little and he was standing a little ways behind me and said ok.
