Oh my gosh, what memories growing up! Doug riding me on his shoulders while we played kick the can in his yard while Mom and Dad and Ginny and Uncle Calvin played cards. Doug giving me a silver dollar (I still have it!) when I graduated from high school. I have you guys in my prayers and have for some time. What a sad time. Love, Sylvia Sprouse Wingfield

Grand daddy Doug was one of the best. I loved him very much and always thought of him as my grandpa. He is sitting up in heaven looking down on everyone smiling knowing that he was loved by all that knew him and he is so proud of all of his kids, grand kids and great grand kids. I will always remember him in my heart. Grand daddy Doug I love you very much and miss you even more.
