She was born December 2, 1967 and graduated from Nelson County High School.
Sandy brought warmth, strength and compassion to everyone she met.
Sandy was a devoted mother, daughter, sister and grandmother whose love for her family was boundless.
She is survived by her loving children, Kevin Woodson (Ashley); Danielle McKenzie and husband Joseph and her three cherished grandchildren, Brooklynne Woodson, Blaine Dyer and Elizabeth McKenzie who brought her immense joy.
She is also survived by her father, Louis Snyder; siblings, Ronnie Snyder, Jimmy Snyder and wife Debi and Kim Mays.
She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Blanche Snyder as well as her nephew Jamie Mays and a niece Shannon Mays.
Sandy had a spirited love for life. She was always up for an adventure, never passed up a chance to have fun, and could light up and room with her laughter. Whether it was a spontaneous road trip, a backyard gathering, or a quiet chat with a stranger, she made every moment memorable. She had an uncanny ability to make friends wherever she went and was always the life of the party, bringing joy and energy wherever she was.
Those who knew Sandy will remember her kindness, her generous spirit and her deep devotion to the ones she loved. Her presence made the world a little brighter and her memory will continue to do the same in the hearts of those who knew her.
Following cremation the family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes, 618 W. Main St., Waynesboro, Va.
