Shirley L. Craig

Mrs. Craig was born March 26, 1940 to the late Owen Willard and Minnie Parr Estes.

She was a member of Forest Chapel Church of the Brethren and retired from the former General Electric of Waynesboro.

Following her retirement from General Electric she continued to work for McKee Foods Corporation.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Nelson Eugene Craig; a son, Nelson Eugene Craig ll, five brothers, George, Roy, Hoover, Roger and Ervin Estes and a sister, Margaret Bruce.

Survivors include two daughters; Brenda Pawlik and husband Mickey of Waynesboro, Linda Cash and husband Darrell of Waynesboro, a grandson of whom she considered to be her son, Dustin McDaniel and wife Monica, grandson, Jody Cash, granddaughter, Andrea Pawlik, granddaughter-in-law, Evelyn Cash, great grandchildren; Jordan McDaniel, Nathan McDaniel, Ely McDaniel, Hunter Cash, Owen Cash, Jocelyn Cash, sister-in-laws; Ruby Estes, Roxie Estes and Fairy Estes.

She also leaves numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at Forest Chapel Church of the Brethren by Danny Fisher. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Mark Snyder, Otha Bruce, Steve Shirey, Larry Howdyshell, Travis Shirey, Kent Daniel and Larry Estes.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ruth Oscar, Linda Howdyshell, nieces and nephews attending the service.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes.
