Shirley Martha Morris

She was born January 9, 1929, a daughter of the late Francis Guy and Hester Charlotte (Gulick) Hardesty.

She was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Jean Horn; an infant son, as well as three brothers, Frank, Donald and Robert Hardesty.

Survivors include her daughter, Carolyn Morris and her husband Ron Huff; three grandchildren, Joshua Horn, Justin Horn and Audrey Hylton and her husband Shawn; seven great grandchildren, Ellie Horn, Addison Horn, Peyton Horn, Blakley Horn, Greyson Hylton, Fynn Hylton and Opal Hylton.

Following cremation a memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 3, 2025 at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes with Pastor Joshua Akin officiating.

Inurnment will follow in Augusta Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimers Foundation, 1010 Ednam Ctr Suit 203 Charlottesville, VA. 22903.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes and Crematory.
