Sinie Lorene Serrett

She was born September 10,1936, a daughter of the late Christopher Robert and Lois Dickerson Wright.

She was a member of Second Presbyterian Church retired from the former Genicom Company of Waynesboro as a Group Leader.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jake Serrett, Jr.; brother, Gordon A. Wright, sisters, Margaret “Buck” Anstine, Deloris Griffy and Savilla “Noots”Claytor.

Survivors include her daughter, Lois Serrett; grandchildren, Gregory Allen Jones, Whitney Amber Stevens and her husband Derrick; great grandchildren, Jasiah Stevens, Shayan Stickley, Zayden Madison and Zeek Vires.

She also leaves a number of nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 18, 2025 at Augusta Memorial Park with Pastor Rachel Hamberger officiating.

Family members, friends and pallbearers may meet directly at the cemetery on the day of the service.

Active pallbearers will be Derrick Stevens, Jasiah Stevens, Clinton Stevens and Joshua Craig.

There will be no public viewing or visitation at the funeral home.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes.
