Sue Gochenour, 76, of Crimora, passed away on Friday, July 29, 2022 at Augusta Health in Fishersville.
She was born July 10, 1946 in North Carolina to the late Dethanuel W. and Catherine E. (Corbin) Icenhour.
Sue received her Associates Degree in Art.
She was very creative in her craft work, but most of all enjoyed being with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Lee Gochenour on January 7, 2017.
Survivors include her son, Raymond Gochenour and special friend, Susan Campbell; daughters, Natosha Pike and husband, Mike Somers, Katrina Blosser and husband, Jerry; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She also leaves numerous extended family members and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at Augusta Memorial Park with Pastor Michael Eastman officiating.
Friends will be received at the homes of her children.
Family members and friends are asked to meet directly at the cemetery on the day of the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Sue’s memory to the Staunton Apostolic United Pentecostal Church, 810 Norfolk Ave., Staunton, Va. 24401 and/or Creative Works Farm, P.O. Box 446 Crimora, Va 24431.
