Terri Lynn Smith

He was born in Garden City, Kansas to Larry Smith and Geraldine Shaffer on June 19, 1967.

He attended high school in Holcomb, Kansas and married Jennifer Atkinson on May 22, 1993.

Terri retired from the United States Navy and worked as an Electrical Technician at Neuman Aluminum for the last year and a half.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Elmer and Wanda (Anderson) Smith, Orren Gay and Harriet Gay (Dewey); father-in-law David Atkinson and step-father Gayle Shaffer.

Survivors include his wife, Jennifer; sons, Colin (Madison) and Zachary Smith; fur babies, “Ava, Cap and Hank”.

He also leaves his brothers, Mr. and Mrs. Ty Smith (Shonna), Mr. and Mrs. Troy Smith (Stacie); sister-in-law Amy Harrison and brother-in-law Chandler Atkinson; father, Larry Smith; mother Geraldine Shaffer; nieces, Samantha Woloszyn (Ryan), Amanda Smith, Ashley Smith, Jessie Smith, Lacy Huckins, Kayla, Alyssa Rikard; nephews, Tyler Smith, Hunter Smith, Garrett Huckins, as well as numerous great nieces and nephews.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Madison Carr for doing what she could do within her power and staying with Terri until officials arrived so he was not alone and for Senior Trooper M.C. Brill of the Virginia State Police for his kindness.
