Thelma was born in Texas to James Norman Jones and Zula Eva (Coston) Jones on December 16, 1933. She was a homemaker who worked hard to raise 6 wonderful children. Thelma enjoyed traveling the country with and navigating for her daughter, Gwen.
In addition to her parents, Thelma was preceded in death by her husband, Harrold Lloyd Adkisson.
Thelma is survived by her children; George Adkisson and wife Gwen of West Columbia, TX, Gwen Wright of Wayneboro, VA, Sharon Travis and husband Tim or Wichita Falls, TX, David Adkisson of Rochester, TX, Brenda Adkisson of Austin, TX, and Nancy Snelling and husband Terry of Haskell, TX. In addition, she is survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Following cremation, Thelma will be laid to rest at Willow Cemetery in Haskell, TX.
