

He was born November 22, 1953 in Waynesboro a son of William A. and Katherine Agner Davenport lll.
He was a member of Main Street United Methodist Church and was one of the original employees of Vector Industries and retired after 38 years of service.
He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by both his paternal grandparents, Arthur H. and Lois Agner, his maternal grandparents, Albert and Ann Pearsall Davenport.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a cousin, Dr. James R. Cooke, Jr. and wife Cindy, friends John Griffin, Norma Lee Braden, his canine companion, “Sassie.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at Augusta Memorial Park by the Rev. Neil Hough, followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at Main Street United Methodist Church.
Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 from 9:00 AM until 7:00 PM, and also at the residence of his mother of 1010 Hawthorne Lane, Waynesboro.
