He was born June 4, 1963, a son of the late Jerry Garland and Patricia Ann (Skillman) Painter.
Timothy was employed by Burris Refrigeration of Lyndhurst.
Survivors include a daughter, Jennifer Hurst; two sons, Nathan Rogers and Timothy Blake Painter; brother, Jay Painter, and two grandchildren, Joel Conner Pugh and Hayleigh James Prior.
Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at a later date by his family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes.
