Violet Limbaugh Lunney

Violet was a devoted wife and a wonderful mother who found joy in painting and in giving her time to help others through years of volunteer work. She had a generous spirit and took great satisfaction in helping those around her.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas Lunney.

Violet is survived by her five children, Tom Lunney, Cheryl Johnson, Ann Benson, Bob Lunney, and James Lunney, who, along with their families, will carry her memory and love forward.

Violet lived a long and meaningful life. She will be remembered for her devotion to her family, her willingness to help others, and the love she gave throughout her 95 years. Her memory will be cherished by her family and all those whose lives she touched.

A Graveside Service will be held 10.00 a.m. Saturday, September 5, 2026 at Riverview Cemetery in Waynesboro with Pastor Morris Fleischer officiating.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes of Waynesboro.
