Virginia B. Robinson

Born March 3, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Emmett and Sadie Brooks.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Linwood Robinson; daughter, Bonnie Fitzgerald; two brothers, Glenwood and Lawrence Brooks; two sisters, Corine Harris and Janet Shuey.

She was a loving mother and grandmother and those who knew her will remember her sparkling blue eyes, sweet smile and gentle nature.

Survivors include her children, Carolyn Wimer and Robbie Robinson both of Waynesboro; two granddaughters, Jane Robinson and Gina Nazelrod; two grandsons, Travis Wimer and Justin Fitzgerald; five great-grandchildren, Dylan and Tyler Wimer, Cody and Ginni Phielsticker and Emery Fitzgerald; a number of nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at White Hill Church of the Brethren Church Cemetery, with Pastor William T. Cole officiating.

There will be no formal viewing or visitation at the funeral home.

The family would like to thank Dr. Wolfe and staff, her nurses from Hospice and the Shenandoah House for their love and care of Virginia.
