I was so sorry to hear of Webb's death.  I remember the good time we had working together in Fayette County, WV on the Summerlee Mission trip.  Also we had good times together in the Gillespie Bible
study small group.  Take care.

Webb and I were in 1st and 3rd grade together at Fishersville Elementary. Our first grade teacher was Mrs. Engleman, 3rd grade teacher was Mrs. Guynn.
Webb was always the intellectual in the class. We went to college and never saw each other but a few times in the 90's and then for a short while when she was on Facebook.
I am so sorry she was taken from us so early. Webb was always interesting and fun to be around.

My deepest sympathy to Jay and the family in the loss of our dearly beloved Webb.  May God comfort Jay and his children who loved and cared for Webb.

Webb is my first cousin. My brother Ben and I are Josephine and Dick Edkins children. May God comfort Jay and his children who loved and cared for Webb.

Web's father. Uncle Brooks Booker was my mother Josephine's brother. We always heard Webb talk of her other cousins on her mother's linage. Webb always talked of her friends Tina and her father Dr, Weems. Most Thanksgivings we would drive from Delaware to visit our grandma, Uncle Brooks, Aunt Lilie and Cousin Webb. 

I remember as a young teen or pre-teen Webb accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior. She immediately prayed for us cousins that had not yet had this personal encounter with God. I was 24 when I asked Christ to be my Lord and Comforter. God answered her prayer for my salvation from sin and death. At this time, I do missionary work among the Haitian diasporas.

I regret that I will not be with you all this weekend to renew our relationships. Please take my place and comfort family and friends. God bless you.


My memories of Webb are mostly around visits to Waynesboro in the late 70s/early 80s. My mother (Winnie Webb Buchanan Grimm)  was her mother's youngest sister. I think of Webb as a strong person who provided a different kind fo template for what a woman could be. I had the feeling she turned her own suffering into a really practical, crucial kind of help for other people. I think of her as a life-long student who used her opportunities to learn the things she was interested in. I didn't know her well, but I appreciated her.

My deepest sympathy to Jay and the family in the loss of our beloved Webb.  Webb was our neighbor and grew up as part of the Weems family- even pronouncing herself “Webb Booker Weems” when we were all asked our names to earn strawberries from the farmer! I have fond memories of Webb coming through our back door after dinner and checking to see what was leftover- she loved our Mom’s cooking! Webb was a faithful friend- when my mother was no longer able to drive long distances, Webb drove her to Ohio to visit my family. 

Although Webb is no longer on this earth , she will forever be in the hearts of all those who knew and loved her. She is at peace.

I am Webb’s first cousin through her mother’s 
side.  My mother was her mother’s sister Lilie
Buchanan Booker.  My mother was Winifred
Webb Buchanan Grimm, her younger sister.
We didn’t live in Virginia, so didn’t get to see each other alot.  We have childhood memories of time spent with our cousins in Virginia.  I felt close to Webb and and enjoyed our time together.  I lived in Maryland for several years as an adult and was able to spend more time with her.  She was also in my wedding.

I admired Webb’s intellect and efforts to help others who had issues, by counseling through the court system.  

Rest  in Peace Webb!  I’ll see you again!!
